| | 10 Komentar

Assalamualaikum...

The meteor display, known as the Geminid meteor shower
because it appears to radiate from the constellation Gemini,
is thought to be the result of debris cast
off from an asteroid-like object called 3200 Phaethon.
The shower is visible every December.

In mid-December 2010, the Geminid meteor shower
will make its annual appearance, just in time for Christmas.
Astronomers consider it the best meteor shower of 2010,
with more than 100 meteors streaking through
the night sky every hour.

Berikut fotonya :

Salah satu meteor terang Geminids
menyebabkan lingkungan nampak terang benderang layaknya siang,
padahal pengamatan dilakukan di Jumat dinihari 14 Desember 2012.

Subhanallah,
sungguh pemandangan langit yang sangat menakjubkan ya... :)
